The
Silicon Mountain Group, a network of technology professionals who live and work
in the Tahoe-Truckee area, is pleased to welcome Eric Brown, the lead organizer
of Startup Weekend Tahoe.
In
a short presentation, Eric Brown will share the newly announced plans for
Startup Weekend Tahoe, March 7-9, and answer questions about the event.
Startup Weekends are 54-hour events where developers,
designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts come together to
share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups.
Eric Brown is a Managing Member of Castle Peak Ventures and
the co-founder of Thrive Tahoe, a network of entrepreneurs, investors and
mentors built to foster the growth of Tahoe-based start-ups.

The
meeting will be on Monday, January 13th, 6-8 pm at Pizza on the Hill, in Tahoe
Donner at 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee. A $5 fee includes pizza, salad, and
soft drinks. Before and after the discussion, there will be time for networking
with other technology professionals who live and work in the Tahoe-Truckee
region.
