Economy: Uber, Airbnb and How Sharing Resources Spreads the Wealth”
The sharing economy-- a $15 Billion industry, which includes
Uber and Airbnb, is continuing to experience explosive growth. In this
presentation, Jennings will explore and answer two questions: "Who wins in
the sharing economy?" and "Can the sharing economy be used to spread
the wealth?"
Ashley Jennings is a graduate of Columbia University and
spent time in the social work field before becoming a startup founder. She is
the Founder and past CEO of Girlmade, the first startup accelerator program in
Nevada to focus on female-led startups. She recently sold her first company,
and is working on disrupting the music industry with her latest venture, Parlor
Shows.

The meeting will be on Monday, December 14th, 6-8 pm at Pizza on the
Hill, in Tahoe Donner at 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee. A $5
fee includes pizza and salad. Before and after the presentation, there will be

the Tahoe-Truckee region.
